Gold Cap Challenge: Update 3

Antorus released this week, but sadly I have not reaped too much of a reward yet. I have a hunch my pricing settings might be a bit off for consumables. My challenge has not made much progress this week, it’s been pretty constant both in gold and AH value.

What did I do?

I ended up wiping my accounting data and settings by mistake this week.

I managed to work through the rest of the Leatherworking quest line so my Demon Hunter now has access to dreadleather and Gravenscale recipes. I instantly started stocking them, buying out as much leather as I could. I have also started up cooking for real, selling all the rank 3 foods I have. I also managed to process all of my Empyrium into gems and I am posting them regularly, but sales have been slow. Mostly because my minimum price is likely too high.

The next goal is to unlock argus missions on Demon Hunter. As you can see I made a lot of gold on my second account this week, all from doing gold missions in the legion companion app. Getting two characters up to speed will increase my potential quite a bit.

My TSM Gold graph for the last seven days

TSM sales

This is only three days worth of accounting data as I wiped my data inadvertantly about mid week. We can see that I’ve finally sold two of my jewelcrafting panthers, so I need to restock those. I also sold a bunch of BoEs, flasks and food. The same story is told when we sort by quantity. Food is the biggest seller in terms of volume. Flasks have sold OK, but gems have been extremely disappointing.

I really need to take a look at my epic gem operation as it is not giving the results I want currently.

Inventory

Nothing much to say about my inventory. I bought a lot of herbs this week. this means I have a lot of gold tied up in herbs/flasks, but they sell regularly. My BoE supply has been dwindling, so I need to start shopping for those more rigorously to keep my income up. My trillium an Ghost Iron has been moving quietly in the background. I am on the lookout for more spirits of harmony, but nothing so far.
