What did I do?

This week I got a very solid leveling session in. I spammed my way through the Lich King Dungeons and made it to level 80 on Sunday.

Sadly the week did not deliver too much on the gold making front. I did not re-post my stock enough and I have had very few sales because of this. On the plus side i made it to 300 Mining so I can finally smelt the fel Iron Ore I have. The only significant sales I have are some potions of Prolonged Power. I have been using my TSM operation to post Fjarnskaggl and it seems the price has consistently been too high.

Gem prices have been very bad on this server and it is currently looking like I’ll have to sell them at a loss. Hopefully Wednesday will bring a price boost that I can take advantage of to get them off my hand at at least a slight profit. Atleast the Potions of Prolonged Power have turned out to be a great investment.

TSM sales

Sales have been very slow this week. The only significant sales have been about 100 Potions of Prolonged Power. I have sold some bars, and some cloth as well. All in all the week has been extremely disappointing. I have never experienced my herbs selling this slowly before during this challenge. At least I got in a good amount of levels, so I can start getting into some better markets. I think I will have to do some farming runs eventually to really get started on the Auction House, at least if this performance continues.

On the plus side my AH value has gone up by about 30k since last week so at least my stock posted at good prices. The Fel Iron bars have a ludicrous price. It’s gonna be very interesting to see if they sell.

Inventory

My inventory looks quite similar to last weeks. I still have a ton of gold bound up in Fjarnskaggle that I need to move as fast as possible now. The gems are also an important part and definetly something I need to turn back into liquid gold as soon as possible. Getting stuck with slow-moving items is really bad in terms of making gold fast and I absolutely need to avoid it.

If I can move the herbs I might pick up jewelcrafting next week and try my hand at some Legion prospecting. This is usually a very profitable endeavour, but I need more liquid gold to generate a large enough sample that I can beat the RNG.

Follow the challenge!

Follow me on twitter and twitch to keep up to date with my challenge, I managed to get in some streaming time on the challenge on Saturday this week.

I will continue work on the format of my status posts going forward as I find a good level of detail versus effort. Please let me know if you feel like I missed something or want to have more or less details from the updates.
