What did I do?

This week I managed to do some streaming of the challenge. Mostly just running quests and chatting about gold. I decided to take a break from dungeons and went into Thousand Needles to level by quests and get some mining going. I ended up with a bit of mithril nuggets. I kept posting my supply of bars and assorted green drops as usual.

I sold a blue linen shirt for 111 gold, so the shirts are still generating profits!

My AH value is still climbing, so this is great.

TSM sales

As we can see I sold some shirts, a Moss Agate that dropped from a dungeon and a BoE green. Sadly I have not sold any of my copper or bronze bars this week. Copper bars are super pricy and bronze is cheap as hell, so there are definetly some demand problems I did not expect. It seems that demand for the copper bars is pretty much non-existant. Hopefully I can devote some time to figuring this out. I do not really know what if any market there is for the end products, so I might have screwed up here. I know higher level bars sell well, so at worst it’s a 100 gold loss.

Inventory

My inventory value keeps increasing. This time by about 6000 gold. Most of it is in random BoEs and cloth drops, but the bars also pull it up. Sadly it’s still all in slow to sell stuff, so I wont be exploding in gold any time soon. Gotta spend more time leveling to get any lucrative businesses going sadly.

I expect to have a busy week at work, but going forward after that my schedule should clear up a bit more. If I can get a solid day of leveling in this challenge should have a much faster progress. Until next time!

Follow the challenge!

Follow me on twitter and twitch to keep up to date with my challenge. I promise I will actually be streaming it this week. My pitiful progress is starting to feel quite shameful! Please let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to try out or if you have any questions.

I will continue work on the format of my status posts going forward as I find a good level of detail versus effort. Please let me know if you feel like I missed something or want to have more or less details from the updates.

    1. I figured I would start completely from scratch to challenge myself maximally. I’m closing in on 58 now, so it wouldnt really be much of a point any more.

The most diappointing part of the challenge is how little time I have been able to spend on it, leveling has been VERY slow 🙁

      1. I just found your blog, but I did something like this, with a dk on a new server, after the starting zone I vent to blasted lands, farming rares on odd hours, its pretty good for starting out on a new server, after 3-4 h played I’m around 20k and almost 80 in ah value.
