WHERE ARE MY DEALS?!
That out of the way let’s look at where I am. Obviously finding materials to flip has been my main challenge. Right now I’m sitting at 650 gold, and about 300 gold worth of auctions. Preferably I would be sitting at at least double that in AH value, but I have not been able to find deals.
The disadvantage of only one market
I am really feeling the disadvantage of only really being in one market. This means I can’t really make all my gold work for me. The best thing you can possibly do when starting out if you want to get a lot of gold is to aggressive. Of course, this does run the risk of losing your gold, but unlike in real life it is not particularly hard to start over in World of Warcraft, you simply need to be willing to deel with the boredom of farming for a little while.
New comers
I have been prioritizing more expensive items whenever possile, and we have some new entrants at the top of the profit list this time. Guardian Stone and Essence of Earth are now up there and approaching the old stalwarts. Interestingly the profit from Dark Runes is still the top 1, even if I haven’t flipped a single dark rune in weeks. This furthe shows that you need to go to town when you can. If something works, keep doing it until market conditions change.
A lowbie goodie?
Another interesting entrant on the list is Elemental Water. I have very often been able to buy small quantities of elemental water. It has been one of the more consistent items for me in terms of quantity, so even with a relatively modest price it is getting up high on the list.
