There’s a ton of gold in concentration armies yet again!

Early access has come and gone so let’s see how it went for me!

Only 1 account

I only bothered to pay for early access on one of my accounts as I knew I would not have enough time to set up all my alts in the early access period. This kept the workload more manageable.

Leveling first

I focused on leveling my DK first, and skipped doing anything on my alts until I was level 90. This meant I was a little slow to get off the gorund as I cannot no-life the game. I hit level 90 on Sunday, and I spent Sunday and Monday setting up most of my alts to some extent.

The new concentration setup

With the reduction of ranks from 3 to 2 you can now get concentration crafters going a lot easier. You don’t need any extra skill to be able to concentrate your way to rank 3, which meant my focus was on just leveling my profession enough that I could get at least one profitable concentration recipe. That meant I could ignore stuff like doing all the profession treasures and just get the crafters up and running. I have a wide variety of professions on my main account as you can see. As an example you can setup a scribe in 5 minutes to craft Munsell ink with zero knowledge or tools and get 9 gold per concentration. If you also max out the

Concentration values

Generally concentration values varied from 5-15 gold across my professions on entry level crafts. This is quite good, particularly with a lot of professions not really seeing demand until actually hard content is released. With the release of the main game we now have Mythic 0 which should help out a bit. For instance pretty much every enchant in the game is a very bad concentration target at the moment.

Some crafts

Below you can see my TSM sales across the professions I’ve set up. Basic materials have been quite good so far, and I expect them to be quite good for a while as it will take a while to get there consistently with q2 materials, and even then the price difference should help drive the value.

The future

As we get to the main season I expect the value to shift towards certain max level crafts like enchants and flasks. I also expect concentration values to trend downwards as always. In particular the barrier to entry is even lower than The War Within. This also means any selective recipe is very good right now. Recipes that cost Moxie are particularly useful as players are only able to get a couple per profession at the moment, and there’s nothing like the acuity shuffle in The War Within to boost no-lifers ahead.
