Today we’ll be taking a look at what might be the second best concentration build in the game. It is at least VERY good.
Expensive and demand?
One reason I really like enchants is that there is significant demand for them at relatively expensive prices. This is especially true for weapon enchants which we focus on with this build. Players usually prioritize weapons early and many will have crafted a high level one. They will only maybe switch it out once, so putting an expensive enchant on it is something MANY players are willing to do.
Expensive recipe
The best recipe for the majority of players is the Authority of Radiant Power. It gives a damage proc, alongside a buff to your main stat. This recipe drops from the last boss of the Priory of the Sacred Flame and can be bought on the AH. As of right now the recipe is 400k on the cheapest realm I can see it available on the AH. You may want to configure a TSM deals search if you have premium to try to find it for less gold.
Other recipes
Luckily there are other weapon enchants that also give great concentration value. Personally I have mostly done the Stormrider’s Fury which is 28 gold per concentration as of righting this post.
Base build
The base build is to put 30 points into the base node for Everlasting enchantments and 20 points into the Arathor node. Right now I am prioritizing Supplementary shattering over more +skill as I am not shuffling for acuity, so I won’t reach guaranteed q3 for a while anyway. If you have gone all in on profession tools then quality 3 is not too expensive in terms of knowledge, so that is a possibility.
Get the epic tool
The epic enchanter tool has a bonus effect of reducing concentration costs by 1%. This will stack up over time and seems well worth it to me compared to other uses of Acuity early on. For the other two slots I stick with the uncommon tools for now.
