Material flipping leads to tripling my sales! Classic 0 – 1000 gold challenge part 5

I was a little optimistic on the last update, and while I am progressing I am not quite there.

Progress is still steady

When doing somehting like this a good indication of progress is the sum of your total gold and the value of your auctions and inventory. As of right now I am sitting at 194 gold, with an AH value of 378 gold. That means I am approaching 600 gold in total value, so I have roughly doubled my expected net worth since the last update!

Sales are doubled as well

The doubling in inventory value is also followed by a roughly exact doubling in my total sales since last time. My total sales are now 2983 gold, which is pretty good. I am actually starting to continuously hover on 100+ gold, as it’s hard to find enough materials to spend it all. In general when scaling you do want to spend all your gold to speed it up, but sadly that is not on the menu for me at the moment.

Buy everything

I am in buy everything mode right now. I try to get everything I can that is below the maximum price. I want as much volume as possible to keep my sales rolling. I have done some scans for BoEs, but not found any worth buying, so it is materials and consumables only.

Time commitment

I have spent about 5 hours in game since the last update, so I am getting more time efficient. I have been running into the AH throttle a lot, if you do too many actions on the AH in a short-ish time you get throttled and will have to wait 1ish second between each auction you buy. This is quite annoying, and it does slow my sessions down a bit.

Top items

The Dark Rune is still my top item, even if I haven’t sold much since last time. Outside of that Larval Acid is a new one on top of the list, as are some of the blasted lands itemsl like Basilisk Brains and Vulture Gizzards. These are great as they are a bit more expensive than many other items allowing me to spend my gold more quickly to put it to work.
