Taking launch off was not good for profits!

I have been VERY busy at my day job at the end of August, so my start to TWW and content in this expansion has been extremely slow, but I’m finally done with the big work deadline, so let’s dive in!

Status

I am currently level 79 on my main, and I’ve moved all of my crafters to Dornogal. I have only really set my mains professions up, where I’m close to 100 skill in Alchemy and Engineering. For the rest I am not really set up at all. I have probably spent more gold on leveling professions than I’ve made in sales, but I have made some sales already, mostly doing the engineering profession gear, as well as a little bit of part shuffling with Engineering.

My plans

Throughout DF I did not do too much goldmaking in practice. I barely kept up with my multi realm flipping and I did some professions, mostly at the beginning of expansions. For TWW I will stop multi realm flipping completely. At the end of DF I lost multiple mailboxes of expired auctions as I forgot to log in, and I just don’t enjoy battle pet flipping. I started multi realm flipping during Legion with BoEs, which was a lot more fun and profit, but the game has changed to make that type of flipping a lot less consistent. Instead I will focus on professions and just on my main realm. This has been my general bread and butter over the years.

I’m behind the curve

Due to vacation and then crunch time at work I did not have much time to play beta, and I’ve not had much time to play after launch. I’m playing from behind and playing catch up to even many of you. Luckily that’s a great place to focus on for helping the absolute beginners among you! I do have a decent amount of alts, but nothing crazy, so we will be utilizing those for concentration crafts as well as for whatever else we find.

Markets so far

Before raids and M+ opens markets are always “weird”. There are usually some expansion specific short lived giga profit ventures. This time around the engineering parts shuffle using old expansion materials has stood out with players shuffling tons of materials for the new mount. Now that raids and m+ are approaching we will see the traditional high end markets come in, max level gear, max level enchants, max level consumables etc. Setting up to efficiently produce these is going to be my main focus going forward! Good luck and let’s jump in!
