The 30 days to a token challenge is heating up! Day 4 Update

So I have gotten 4 days into my 30 days to a challenge run, and progress has been consistent.

How far am I?

I have been doing a lot of really fast selling items, so I have been spending gold just about as fast as I get sales. As of right now I’m sitting at 4800 gold, which is just above what I started with. I also have another 7 800 gold worth of auctions posted, and I have a bunch of materials in my bags. So overall I have definitely been moving in the right direction.

Sales breakdown

Potions have been my top sellers by a very significant margin. They represent a little over half my total sales. The rest of the sales is a combination of cooking and blacksmithing gear. The Contender gear sells quite fast, but I do not have all the recipes yet. I am working on Spirits of Harmony when I have time and the main farm I’ve done yields me about 3 spirits per hour on average. I’ll very soon have Exalted with The Tillers, which will speed it up by letting me plant songbell seeds.

Leveling professions

I have spent a good chunk on leveling cooking. So far I have two of the ways at max, and I’m just missing a few points for the last main stat way. Margins seem very low, but prices do spike up sometimes on raid nights, so if I can get my sales when prices are high that would be great.

Raw gold addition

I realized an old classic raw gold farm is still viable, in doing old raids. I did Blackwing lair quite quickly today for about 1600 gold in less than half an hour. I expect I can also do some TBC raids and possibly some of the other classic raids as well for some more raw gold. This will be a nice little infusion of gold to keep me going.
