I’m now on day 9 of my 30 days to a token Challenge on Mists Classic, and I’m just about halfway there!
Current status
As of right now I’m sitting on just under 22 000 gold. I was actually sitting at a bit more yesterday, but I have restocked an absolute ton of potions today that are currently on the AH, so hopefully we see the results from that tomorrow once the EU reset rolls around. My total sales are 66 659, which is actually a little bit off what I expected I needed.
Speed
This is slower than my best in Wrath, but with PvP gear selling for so much less this expansion I was kind of expecting a slower progression. That being said it has been a bit fast than I feared/anticipated, and I am on a very nice trajectory to be done.
Time spent
I have spent quite a lot of time, particularly over the weekend as I had a good amount of time to play. The kids have grown older, so I do get a bit more time these days. I have accrued an average of 3 hours /played per day, but I have some AFK numbers in here while recording and writing as well as pure AFK, so the effective number is a bit lower.
Markets
Potions have been the main market, and I have been consistently crafting and selling them. They sell really quickly in general, and margins are quite good on average. That being said I did notice that on Sunday the prices spiked as that is a massive raid night. For next Sunday I will prepare a lot more potions to be ready for the massive demand spike. Prices on pretty much all of the potions went up by 1g+, when they were already profitable. I have sold 9600 potions for a total value of 31 000 gold, so moving volume is not an issue. The other main market has been the blacksmithing catch up gear, which sells very consistently. I’ve sold catch up PvP gear for a total of 12 000 gold, so it is quite nice.
Spirit Weapon
I also have my Tillers farm up to get Spirits of Harmony. I already sold one masterwork weapon for about 2200 gold profit, which is about 450 gold profit per Spirit of Harmony. At that rate my tillers farm will give me about 700 gold per day in average profits, which is really good.
Raw gold farms
I’ve also done some old raids for some raw gold infusions. I’m not sure about the exact amount, but I would guess somewhere in the 5 to 7 000 gold for the raids I did. I’ll probably do some raids again after the reset to help me along.
