Want to increase your War Within profits without putting in more work? You can!

Today we are looking at tricks we can use to increase our profits without putting in a huge amount of effort. The absolute top of goblins have been doing degenerate acuity shuffles since day 1, but that’s not me.

You won’t compete on raw stats

If you like me have not been putting in max effort since day 1 then it’s impossible to compete on raw crafting stats. For many crafts players can guarantee quality 3 now with max quality materials. I am wallowing in concentration land, so we want to maximize our lazy concentration value.

Get weird recipes

For a lot of professions there are a ton of different recipe sources. Some of these are easier to obtain than others, the harder it is to obtain the better it is. The top weapon enchant recipe is still wildly expensive, and may or may not be worth it. On the other side you have stuff like Cursed Critical strike, which is very cheap. The recipe was 2.5k for me last night and cursed crit was 1 000 gold more per max quality craft than cursed haste which you get from the knowledge tree. I would break even in 3 crafts, so if you have a full concentration bar you’ll be in the green really fast.

Acuity recipes

There are a ton of recipes that cost acuity to buy. Examples include the contracts (Which also require reputation!) and YY. This will even further limit the pool of buyers

Low quality finishing reagents

There are alot of finishing reagents and phials that can boost your crafting stats. Figuring out if these are worth it isn’t straightforward in all cases, but CraftSim will give you an idea how valuable the different buffs are.

Check different material combinations

CraftSim will by default optimize for the lowest possible price to reach the q2 threshold if you are doing concentration searches. More skill will mean less concentration used, and increases the value of concentration. In many cases the difference in price between q2 and q1 materials is nonexistent. It also saves time to just slam q2 materials in stead of setting up the perfect mix of q1 and q2, so this can free up time to level another crafter or just do something else!
