What did I do?

I planned to start the challenge on Monday, but I’m traveling for work, so we started two days early. So I have a little bit of data going. I started the challenge with 11 699 gold, which was what I had on me.

After looking through the spreadsheet for my realm I decided on one main entry level crafting market: Inscription. I bought a bunch of herbs and milled them, and I’m trying to sell the inks. I’ve sold some war-scrolls succesfully, and I’m on the lookout for any low level recipe I can take advantage of.

For my other profession slotted I picked mining and I’ve been working on leveling that with the time I had left over. Still only rocking a couple of rank 2s, so it’s not fully up to speed, but it generates value. I wanted mining so I would be selling in two different markets right away.
I also bought some ores that seemed underpriced, so let’s see if material flipping can actually work in this version of the AH!

Sales

Not too much to say, with just one day under my belt. Ores, war-scrolls and some inks. I’ll be looking more at the spreadsheet to see if there is anything I should swap to or not. I expect I will have to quickly branch out, but I’ll focus on farming for a little while to generate more starting capital. I still need to find more markets, and this will be the main task once I start seeing sales roll in. In some ways the new AH seems harder to consistently get sales in, so we’ll see how it goes.

Inventory

Inks are by far the biggest value I have. I spent almost 10k on herbs, and if I can unload my crimson inks at market value I’ll be making a LOT of profit. Some of these greys are completely off the wall though.

I also crafted some tomes, and I have quite a bit of ore from farming.
