What would you recommend as a second crafting profession in Classic? Like you (and with your help to be honest), I’ve had tremendous success with alchemy and have including mats for about 10k gold. I haven’t had the courage to swap my gathering professions on my alts yet with any crafting except alchemy for the transmutes.
I have only tested tailoring so far in it was quite far from the level of alchemy. Enchanting is good if you have enough time available to advertise in trade chat and you can get the recipes. Blacksmithing would be my second pick for all the end-game recipes, but you need level 60
How would you setup an alchemy crafting routine using a bank alt for buying mats? If I stock mats in my banker and then use TSM gathering, I’d have to wait 1 hour for the mats to arrive, so I thought I’d create a mailing operation that restocks my alchemist for 50 of each material (more than I craft in one go), and I’d just open mails as I craft. Do you think this is a good idea, or is it better to just wait the 1 hour each time?
If you want to use mailing operation I would mail everything rather than just 50 of each. This way you can save inventory space on your banker and pick materials from the mailbox as you need them, it may eventually get unweildy, but that’s down the road. The mailbox cna fit a lot more items when you mail them as it’s 12 slots per mail rather than 1 if you purchase directly.
