The most important things to get done in Phase 3 Mists to make gold!

today we will talk about the most important things to do early on in Phase 3!

Run your Blacksmith to the Isle of thunder

Note: The forge of thunder area is not unlocked yet, so this part is only relevant for whenever it opens.

The main new recipe to unlock is to learn the Lightning Steel Ingot craft on your blacksmiths. If you have one or more blacksmiths you want to make sure you run them straight to the Isle of Thunder to work on the quests until you unlock the lightning forge. This is by far the most important thing to get done on day 1 so you can unlock the new recipes.

Start your daily cooldowns

Next up you want to go through all your characters that have daily profession cooldowns and do them so you unlock recipes. I would also craft 2 of any PvP gear recipe you learn and put it up on the AH as soon as possible.

Pay attention to Haunting spirits

If you unlock any of the PvE recipes you want to pay close attention to the price of the Haunting spirits. I expect it to start out too high for value, but it is quite likely to fall. I expect crafting the PvE pieces will be more relevant after a couple of resets, but monitoring the market to pounce when and if you can is very important.

Move the consumables

Outside of the new recipes we get the most profitable thing you can do is to keep your consumable crafts rolling. As we head into a new raid players will be enchanting and gemming more gear, eating more food and drinking more potions. You want to continuously assess material and consumable prices and look for opportunities. Early patch days are often volatile with large swings, and if you can hit the right timing you can make a lot of gold.
